Dr. Ida Alfonso
Dr. Ida Alfonso has over 25 years of experience in the dental field and has practiced in Carlsbad, CA, for over 18 years. She graduated from Centro Escolar University, DOMC, in Manila, Philippines, and continued her education at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dentistry with post-graduate training in Advanced Dental Esthetics. Dr. Alfonso is passionate about enhancing her patients’ smiles, believing that a smile can make a significant difference.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Diego Filipino Dental Association. As the President of the San Diego Filipino Dental Association (2022-Present), she leads the organization in sponsoring dental and medical missions worldwide. Her love for continuing education ensures that her procedures rely on the latest dental techniques with the most current technology available.
Dr. Alfonso and her team are committed to providing comfortable, exceptional dental care to all their patients. They live by the saying, “We treat our patients like family,” because that is how they would want their family to be treated. Her clinical practice focuses on restorative, cosmetic, orthodontic, and family dental procedures.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Alfonso enjoys Zumba, dancing, hiking, cooking, baking, and traveling.
